Natasha Clutterbuck Purple Heritage Carrots Postcard

£3.00
SKU: GCD011

Somerset based artist Natasha Clutterbuck created stunning floor-to-ceiling botanical murals for us at the Penny Brohn UK Hub in Bristol. She worked with a mix of charcoal, oils and earth to showcase a selection of plants, flowers, herbs and vegetables which are recognised as having nutritional benefits, healing properties or are used to aid relaxation.

Her Purple Carrots surrounded by Radish, Leek & Carrot Flowers, Red Onions, Beetroot, Clary Sage and Verbena, fill the elevated window bays at the entrance to the Hub, making a huge impact on everyone who visits the space.

Natasha chose these purple heritage vegetables known to have many health benefits when eaten as a part of a healthy, nutritious diet. In the veg patch, these vegetables are much more resistant to pests and diseases, promoting biodiversity and an abundance of wildlife in the garden. Vegetables from the cruciferous family and allium family are also said to have powerful, cancer fighting properties.

This image is taken from Natasha's preliminary work on this project.

Each postcard comes with a brown paper envelope and has our logo as part of the design on the reverse. Send someone you love a piece of original artwork that has been created especially for Penny Brohn UK
